Finnish artist Teija Lehto is not very famous outside her country. But she caught our eye when one of our fave art and poetry curators on Twitter—@rabihalameddine—shared this wonderfully quirky piece of work. We googled and realised Lehto brings this same offbeat sensibility to mundane domestic objects and scenes. For example: cooking pots. And yes, she is a woman:) Also remember—when you’re looking at the shadows of the sabzi—this is a woodcut print—as in the image was first carved on a block of wood and then transferred to paper.
