Last month, we asked you to send us the tune that helps you calm the eff down at the end of a stressful day or week. We received some amazing tracks ranging from country to sufi and electronic music. - ‘Tezeta (Nostalgia)’ by Mulatu Astatke: Nicole finds the song “comforting and hopeful with just a hint of melancholy.”
- ‘No. 2’ (with parkjiyoon)’ by RM: Anika likes this one because “it's about moving forward and being at peace with whatever has happened. It just allows me to be right now in the moment.”
- ‘Tu Jhoom’ by Naseebo Lal and Abida Parveen: Ajeeth enjoys “the beautiful lyrics, the voices (especially Abida Parveen) and the soulful music.” He says it gives him goosebumps every time!
- ‘Never Gonna Be Alone’ by Jacob Collier feat. Lizzy McAlpine & John Mayer: Namrata likes this one for its pace and lyrics.
- ‘Thendrale’ by Kadhal Desam: Srivatchala finds it soothing like a lullaby. “I play the song, lie down, close my eyes.. and it's bliss. I get a sense of calm and peace.”
- ‘In the Waiting Line’ by Zero 7: Plabita says, “it helps me zone out and get into a very calm, relaxed space.”
