The trailer for its upcoming series ‘Ms Marvel’—which introduces the newest superhero in the MCU: a New Jersey teenager of Pakistani origin called Kamala Khan. Yes, it’s a big win for diversity. But more importantly, the series promises a light-hearted break from relentlessly dark, angst-ridden fare that has become typical of the genre.
