A list of intriguing things
One: The most annoying part about getting comfortable in bed is figuring out where the hell to stow your arms. Say hello to the SONU (not Sood) sleep system—which bills itself as the “world's first mattress designed for side sleepers”—that finally allows your “arms to rest where they're meant to and give your body the relief it has always needed.” Hmm, we’re intrigued but not sold. FYI: if you’re curious, check out the company’s website.
Two: Is nothing sacred anymore? Nope, not even our favourite teddy bear. Brace yourself for ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’—a slasher flick starring a “demonic” Pooh and Piglet “going on a rampage” after being abandoned by Christopher Robin. Ok, we’re not intrigued but just a teeny bit depressed. Watch the trailer below. (Variety)
Three: Blimp this! It’s back to the future with OceanSky Cruises—which is reviving the good old ‘airship’. Just sit back and relax in a 136-foot by 2,100-square-foot cabin— attached to a massive, helium-filled air chamber. The trip, from Norway to the North Pole, includes cruising for 15 hours at an altitude of 1,000 feet—and a six-hour stop on land for a hike, cross-country skiing or a dip in Arctic waters. The price tag: a modest $200,000. See the promo below. (Bloomberg News)
