This is the exquisitely plaintive ‘Un Canto A Mi Cuba’ by Cuban-American singer Angela Álvarez—who at the age of 95 became the oldest musician to win a Grammy. She was voted best new artist at the Latin Grammys this week, sharing the award with 25-year-old Silvana Estrada. Alvarez has been writing and singing songs all her life for family and friends.
