A list of intriguing things
One: These are pages from a 1788 copy of Kabūtarnāmah (The book of pigeons)—“a poem of 163 couplets, followed by a short prose treatise explaining the different types of pigeons, their colours and characteristics, and the art of pigeon-flying.” And it was consulted by Charles Darwin in the course of his research! The British Library blog has more.
Two: The Japanese are well known for their wild and wacky mascots. This is Naanko-chan (for obvious naan-shaped reasons) and she promotes Bollywood films in Japan.
Three: Bang & Olufsen has a speaker that looks like a book, and can fit in your shelf. Awesome! But it costs $700-plus so waaaah! Mashable has more details on the Beosound Emerge.
Four: This may be the most awesome way to change your view—all you need is a wall and a projector! (h/t founding member Sushma Joseph).
