Glocusent’s Clip-on Reading Light: Every night-reader’s biggest struggle is to find a comfortable reading position with adequate lighting—the sort that does not disturb others. Anannya swears by this clip-on reading light because it is rechargeable and long-lasting. She also says:
I tend to read very late into the night, and find that the adjustable brightness levels and different reading modes makes this light so handy. It does not flicker and the light is not harsh—so I still manage to get a good night’s rest after.
It is available on Amazon for Rs 1,499.
Maono AU-HD300 T Dynamic Mic: Nirmal records a podcast as a hobby, but isn’t helped by the fact that his laptop mic sucks. This also means he’s basically useless on splainer edit calls. To fix this, he began looking for a good mic on a budget, and the well-built Maono dynamic mic fit his requirements. Here’s what Nirmal likes:
My favourite part about purchasing this mic was that all accessories come with it. You have a stand for the mic, there’s also a shock absorber which means the mic won’t move around a lot, and a pop filter—for heavy wind/’p’ sounds to be filtered out. It’s simple to use, and the quality of the audio recording is pretty good. The brand is well known for a range of professional audio equipment, and this one perfectly fits my needs—recording podcasts, attending video calls, and making me feel like I have something important to say.
It is available for Rs 4,799 and Nirmal swears that it's worth the expenditure.
Neeman’s Eco Flips flip-flops: Looking for a comfy, low maintenance pair of flip-flops that don’t break the bank? Sooraj likes the Eco Flips from Neeman’s. They have a minimalist design and come in a wide range of sizes and colours that match with most outfit choices. Sooraj says:
I like footwear that is comfortable and doesn’t need to be babied to make it last. These Neeman’s flip-flops meet that criteria perfectly. While I prefer the subtle grey shade, they come in plenty of funky colours and have enough size options to fit most people. The brand also claims to use recycled tyres to make the outsole, which is a plus in my book.
Pick up a pair for Rs 399 from the Neeman’s website or Amazon.
