We first fell in love with Pedro Pascal in ‘Narcos’ so we were delighted to spot him in ‘The Last of Us’—where he plays a smuggler tasked with carrying a child across post-apocalyptic US. Sound familiar? Yes, it is an adaptation of a Playstation game—but it’s also a lot like ‘Mandalorian’ without the adorable Grogu. Hmm. Then again, this new trailer for the HBO series includes fungal zombies and a-ha's ‘Take On Me’—so we may just give it a shot. Also: it has Pascal. This stunning 1969 photo—of a woman decorating a bullock in Rajasthan—was taken by Jyoti Bhatt, an early student of one of the first art schools set up after India's Independence. TIME magazine put out its unranked list of top 100 photos of 2022—which captures everything from the Ukraine war to the Iran protests, the Westminster dog show and the death of Queen Elizabeth. Among the most stunning is this photo of a Ukrainian man bidding farewell to his wife and children as they flee Odessa. You can see the rest over at the TIME website.
