A list of intriguing things
One: A Chinese Electric Vehicle maker has unveiled a robot unicorn for kids! We don’t know much about when it will actually go on sale, or its estimated selling price. But we’re sure almost every kid (and some adults) will want one:). Engadget has more details.
Two: A British company has built the world's first holiday park for hedgehogs. The reason: To raise awareness of the fact that they have been added to the list of endangered species in the country. How absurdly cute is this?
Three: Two million spiders were collected from the highlands of Madagascar and their silk was harvested over eight years to produce just four garments: a golden cape, two shawls and a lamba—a traditional Madagascan garment. FYI: no spiders were harmed in the process. Sir David Attenborough said of this silk: “It must surely be counted as one of the rarest and most glamorous of fabrics. Thank goodness the world still holds marvels.” Watch how it was created below:
Four: We were most intrigued by this fish called—wait for it!—the sarcastic fringehead. It’s a highly odd-looking and bad-tempered beast that spends a lot of its time ‘mouth wrestling’ rivals for territory. We leave it to the always amusing David Attenborough to demonstrate its wonders:)
