A list of intriguing things
One: Feeling nostalgic for the good old days of Indian air travel—when it had a little style? There’s a website totally dedicated to the same called AirIndiaCollector.com—which we suggest browsing for a walk down memory lane. Mint Lounge has a nice write up on the creator. Our fave bits are the coasters like these lol!
Two: Speaking of weird airline things, we are very entertained by air-travel enthusiast Nik Sennhauser who owns 150 pieces of airline dishware—and spent his lockdown time recreating his airline meals. We have to say some of it is pretty darn cool—and nothing like that instant upma that left you traumatised the last time you got on the plane. Atlas Obscura has a lovely write-up. Check out Sennhauser’s Insta here.
Three: To change the subject entirely, we are more alarmed than intrigued by this dental device that literally locks your jaws together—so you don’t eat anything other than a liquid meal! Think of it as the oral version of the chastity belt. It’s called DentalSlim (ugh!) and New Atlas has all the details. Torture device shown below:
Four: We are happily in love with this 21st century version of a vintage camera—though we have no idea if it is any good lol! Well, sometimes looks matter. 🤷🏻♀️
