Dive In

I feel we Indians are a bit more tolerant than overseas (cricketers). I have played with a lot of Englishmen, Australians, and the West Indians, they just give up on mental health.

That’s BCCI president Sourav Ganguly claiming that Indians are somehow better equipped to handle the high stress of playing competitive cricket while isolated in bio-bubbles. Yes, because good old bharatiya denial of mental health issues is the best cure for pandemic anxiety and exhaustion. FYI, Ganguly also offered this remedy for the fear of infection: “You have to stay positive, you have to train yourself mentally. All of us have to train ourselves mentally so that the good will happen. It boils down to training."
