Those are the concluding lines of a Guardian report on the killings of three teenage boys in Kashmir. The Indian army claims they were terrorists shot in the midst of an armed encounter—and has refused to return their bodies. But unlike other such cases, even the local police admitted the three “were not mentioned in our list of terrorists” and had no previous arrests—and yet maintains they were “hardcore associates of terrorists.”
