Five things we’re loving this week

Note from our sister team Souk: We’re a team of dedicated (okay, addicted) hunters of cool products, who finally have an excuse to do what we love best, which is to spend tons of time window-browsing for the good stuff & sharing it with everyone we know.

Each week we pick five new things we absolutely love. Some of these are practical. Some are delightful. Most sit somewhere in between. What they all have in common is that they’re not obvious, and that’s exactly why we love them. At least one of them will make you think: I didn’t even know this existed… but now I want it.

Discovery Box

We really like the textural contrast of the linen front and the microvelvet backing and piping, which makes this a great transitional cushion that can be paired with other cotton and linen cushions in the summer and velvet cushions in cooler climes.

Indoor Pan/Tilt Camera

We use a Tapo camera as a way to monitor the four-legs when we're out without them, and could not recommend it enough. While ours is a different model, the app is easy to use, the pan/tilt camera covers a wide range, and you get instant push notifications when motion (be it a person or pet) is detected. As one reviewer put it, “Tapo is compatible with Alexa, so when there’s a notification on a camera Alexa can announce it. The app is straight forward and easy to use. You can take Live Photos and Videos through the app. The pan/tilt range is amazing and I like that you can put the cam in privacy mode. The picture quality is comparable to higher priced cameras if not better. "

Crazy Cat Lady Tee

The description for this tee says, 'You'd probably have to be a crazy cat lady to wear this.' Well, there are only wannabe crazy cat ladies on the Souk team unfortunately, as none of us are currently owned by a feline, but we’d still wear this 'Crazy Cat Lady' tee. We love the slightly unhinged print, the oversized fit, and that it's made of 240 gsm premium cotton—perfect for throwing on with denims, and a cat or two, of course.
