Dive In

After becoming a frequent customer of Blinkit, I started feeling that the 30-minute average delivery time by Zomato is too slow, and will soon have to become obsolete. If we don’t make it obsolete, someone else will.

That’s Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal announcing that his company will soon deliver your food in just ten minutes. The plan involves “finishing stations” that will stock the most popular 20-30 dishes from local restaurants in “high demand neighbourhoods.” The pilot program will kick off in Gurgaon. Goyal also released a statement on how he plans to ensure delivery partner safety. Umm, we’ll pass.
