Gulammohammed Sheikh: Hand Prints | Mind Prints
Widely celebrated as an artist, art historian, and educator, Gulammohammed Sheikh’s work also included printmaking. This exhibition explores his archive of work with traditional printmaking methods as well as his forays into digital prints. Every aspect of this series, including the machines and tools used, serves a very specific artistic vision and purpose designed by Sheikh.

Pema 'Tintin' Tshering
Here’s something to read into and hunt for the in-betweens. Pema ‘Tintin’ Tshering’s work invites the viewer to rely on the human skill of perception and meaning-making to understand the art. His paintings are centred around Buddhist practices and teachings, as well as his experience growing up in Bhutan.

Vasundhara Tewari Broota
Vasundhara Tewari Broota’s paintings, featuring women in their full, unashamed forms, reclaim the body as a site of agency. The figures in the paintings intertwine with each other and occupy space, evoking in the viewer a hope for freedom, and a radical acceptance of womanhood.

Throngkiuba Yimchungru, Kiyomi Talaulicar
Two artists with different approaches to similar themes come together in this exhibition that interrogates the meaning of memory, and what it means for us to endure. This show—with Yimchungru’s solid and deliberate structures and materials, and Talaulicar’s layered and fragmented colours and elements—brings into question the role of choice in memory-keeping.

Ticket Tika Chaap: The Art of the Trademark in Indo-British Textile Trade
Textile labels, high in collectible possibility, are the centrepiece of this exhibition. These little squares carry a history of design, textile production, and styles of art. MAP offers us these tickets as historical objects, images which carry more than just functional meaning.

This three-year long exhibition focuses on the women in the MAP archive, encouraging viewers to interact critically with the way gender is represented in art. FN Souza: Drawings and Chemical Alterations
Goan-born artist FN Souza, known widely for his paintings of nudes and his experiments with distorting and exaggerating human figures, was one of the co-founders of the Progressive Artists’ Group (1947). His unique and often jarring modernist style confronts the viewer with a unique erotic imagination and exploration of form.

Morphology of Water: A Project
Santanu Debnath
Debnath’s paintings combine the beauty and peacefulness of the natural world with the effects of ecological erosion in the wake of climate change. Using waterbodies as his centrepoint, the artist layers community, memory, and the relationship between humans and the environment.
