Ok, so this isn’t exactly an upbeat break, but it is worth celebrating. Writer-director Abhishek Galshar’s short film ‘Lockdown’ has been shortlisted to be showcased at the Cannes Film Festival this summer. It tells the grim story of a mother forced into prostitution to make ends meet during the pandemic.
