That’s the statement released by International Rugby League—which became the latest global sports body to ban transgender athletes from women’s leagues. It comes on the heels of a similar ban in swimming. And there are hints that World Athletics could follow suit. Football superstar Meg Rapinoe recently called these bans “disgusting” and “cruel.”
