No matter how sinister the international situation is, both China and Russia will maintain their strategic determination and continuously push forward the comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination in the new era.

That’s China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi doubling down on Beijing's friendship with Russia which he described as “rock solid.” He called Ukraine a “complex” problem that “requires calmness and rationality, rather than adding fuel to the fire.” It is the strongest signal yet that the punitive isolation of Russia has not changed China’s mind.
